Guides
End-to-end fOS workflows — the recipes that compose tools into a complete mission-loop run (win a backhaul, match a vehicle to an offer, negotiate within the floor) — and how to connect fOS to an external assistant over MCP.
The Guides lane shows fOS doing complete jobs. Each recipe composes several tools into one end-to-end run of the mission loop.
Recipes
- What a recipe is — how fOS chains tools into a reliable workflow.
- Win a backhaul — find a return load and make an offer (web).
- Match a vehicle to an offer — from a free truck to a bid.
- Negotiate within the floor — a live rate call (voice).
Connect fOS
- Connect an assistant — drive fOS from Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client via the Agent API.
Surfaces
fOS runs the same tool layer across three surfaces — web chat, voice calls, and external assistants over MCP. Tools return data plus render hints; each surface owns how it presents them. The web app has the fullest tool set; voice has a tight negotiation set.
What a recipe is
A recipe is a defined sequence of fOS tools that completes one job — with a trigger, per-step intent and guards, optional steps, and success criteria. Recipes make multi-step workflows reliable and every tool they use is validated against the contract registry.
