Getting started

Sign in to TOVR with Google, LinkedIn, single sign-on, or an emailed one-time code; set up or join your organization; and invite your team as members or admins. This is the first thing to do in TOVR.

This guide takes you from zero to a working TOVR workspace: sign in, get into an organization, and bring your team in.

Go to tovr.eu and choose how to sign in:

  • Google or LinkedIn — one click, no password. The buttons appear only where that sign-in is enabled.
  • Email — enter your email and TOVR sends a one-time code; enter the code to continue.
  • Single sign-on — if your company has configured SSO, enter your work email and TOVR sends you to your identity provider.

There's no separate role choice at sign-in — your access comes from your organization membership.

Set up your organization

TOVR is in closed beta. If you sign in without belonging to any organization, you land on the waitlist page rather than a setup form: your place in the queue is recorded, you get a confirmation email, and TOVR invites you when a place opens up.

Where setup is open, first sign-in asks you to set up your organization (your tenant — the boundary that owns your fleet, shipments, and settings):

  1. Name your organization. As you type, TOVR previews your workspace URL (tovr.eu/<slug>). The final slug is confirmed by the server to keep it unique.
  2. Invite your team (optional) — add teammates by email as Member (the dispatcher role) or Admin. You can skip this and do it later from Settings › Members.

You then land in your workspace on the Shipments page.

Join an existing organization

If a teammate invited you, open the invitation link and accept it — you'll join their organization directly rather than creating one or joining the waitlist.

Roles

Every member holds one of four built-in roles. Invitations offer Member (which is the dispatcher role) and Admin; an admin can later change a member to viewer, and ownership moves only by transferring it.

RoleWhat it can do
OwnerFull control of the organization, including billing and ownership.
AdminManage members, teams, roles, and all fleet data. Can view billing but not change the plan.
DispatcherThe day-to-day work — create and edit vehicles, shipments, chains, and documents. Cannot delete or manage the organization.
ViewerRead-only across the organization. Can raise a support case and change nothing else.

Settings pages a role cannot use are left out of its sidebar, and actions it is not allowed to take are refused. Admins can add custom roles and resource-level grants on top — see Settings.
