The Guides lane holds task-oriented walkthroughs for dispatchers using the TOVR dashboard. Where Concepts explains how the platform works, guides explain how to get a specific job done.
Start here
- Getting started — sign in, get into your organization, invite your team, and what each role can do.
By page
The guides follow the sidebar, top to bottom.
- Shipments — browse, filter, add, and import shipments; open a shipment's detail; start a chain from the list.
- Map — your vehicles and the filtered shipments on one live map.
- Schedule — your trucks over time, the free gaps, the offer pool, and confirming a win.
- Freight chains — the chain list, reading a chain's economics, acting on it, and building one by hand.
- Fleet — My Fleet's five pages: vehicles, trailers, drivers, insurance, and the fleet cost model.
- Integrations — connect freight networks, telematics providers, and fOS apps.
- Settings & administration — company details, billing, members and roles, access, SSO, data protection, developer credentials, the activity log, and notifications.
Not in the sidebar
- Market & quotes — the carrier and shipper directory and your submitted quotes. Live, but reached by address or through fOS rather than from the sidebar.
Data freshness
The cost engine runs entirely from pre-synced data — fuel prices, tolls, route geometry, and telematics positions are refreshed by background jobs, so pricing a chain is a pure read plus math with no live calls. Cache freshness maps to a chain's cost-confidence signal.
